Marketplace overview

Giant Tinkertoys at Once Upon a Toy in Downtown Disney's Marketplace If your family is like ours, you'll spend a lot of time (and money!) in the Marketplace area of Downtown Disney. This family-centric area is focused on shopping with a variety of options for toys, apparel, and other unique Disney-themed merchandise including a high-end Disney art store.

The Marketplace also has quite a few restaurants with options for every vacation budget. There's even a McDonald's! Here's a look at our top picks for Downtown Disney's Marketplace.

LEGO Store - LEGO Imagination Center

A LEGO family poses for a photo at Downtown DisneyThe LEGO Imagination Center is Disney Orlando's cool LEGO store, and the first stop on our latest trip to Walt Disney World's Downtown Disney, and the place where the kids spent much of their vacation souvenir budget! There are LEGO sets for just about everything you can imagine, and there's even a whole wall (literally hundreds) of LEGO people you can buy while you're there.

Take a video tour of the LEGO store NOW!

There are many unique displays inside the store including a life-sized Darth Vadar and a huge LEGO transformer. Outside the store there are models of a T-Rex, a huge sea serpent (in the Lagoon) and even a LEGO family who is eager to pose for photos. Couple that with several play areas where kids can build their own models or race their own LEGO cars, and you're sure to spend a fair amount of time here.
