Hollywood Studios dining overview
Though it lacks the international flair of dining at Epcot, and
the variety of character dining options found at Disney's Magic
Kingdom, Hollywood Studios offers its own unique variety of dining
experiences. Whether you're looking for the glitz and glamour of
a sit-down meal in a Hollywood atmosphere, or you're looking for
something quick and tasty, Disney's Hollywood Studios has you covered!
Here's a look at some of our favorite restaurants at Hollywood Studios.
Sci-Fi
Dine-in Theater
Haven't had dinners in front of a movie? Haven't seen a Sci-Fi
movie lately? Crave a drive-in? Well, come to Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater!
As you walk in, you'll notice that this is no ordinary restaurant.
The tables are shaped like cars, and they're all positioned toward
a giant movie screen.
The coolest part is that clips from old Sci-Fi movies will be rolling
throughout your meal. Order some simple snacks like popcorn to snack
on while watching the clips, or dine on steaks, ribs, salad, pastas
and mouth-watering deserts. When you're at Sci-Fi Dine in Theater,
you're always eating a lunch or dinner that's out of this world!
Hollywood
& Vine
A classic "buffeteria" that offers many American specialties, Hollywood
and Vine is the only place for character dining in all of Hollywood
Studios.
At Breakfast, chow down on Mickey Waffles, fruit and sausages with
Disney's Little Einsteins and Jojo and Goliath from Jojo's Circus
as they dance and sing to make your breakfast fun. At lunch, the
fun continues with your Playhouse Disney friends while chicken,
deli selections, salads, pastas and more are put out to dine on.
At dinner there is no character dining, but delicious baked chicken,
pesto pasta, shrimp, mussels, and other carved meats are set before
you.
Then let your taste buds float away while eating the cheesecakes,
sundaes, pies and cakes for dessert. The Hollywood & Vine's entrance
says, "Where Famous Stars Dine", and to tell you the truth, you're
dining like a star when you're eating at Hollywood & Vine!
50's
Prime Time Cafe'
Have you ever wanted to go back in time and star in a 50's sitcom?
When you dine at 50's Prime Time Cafe', that's just what you're
doing! You sit at a table that's surrounded by old fashioned TVs,
kitchens, counters and other things from the 50's.
Your waiter or waitress acts like one of your "relatives" during
your meal. You may be served by 'Ma', 'Cousin Jen', or 'Uncle Jed'.
There will be some "rules" like elbows off the table, sit up straight,
and no dessert until you eat your vegetables.
This might aggravate some kids, who are hungry and just want to
eat! Lunch and Dinner entrees include meatloaf, golden fried chicken,
and pot pie. The TVs will show old sitcoms like "I married Joan",
"Dennis the Menace", and "I Love Lucy"- in black and white, of course!
After all, this is the 50's! This can be fun for kids. So now, thanks
to the 50's Prime Time Cafe', you are a sitcom star!
Best of the rest dining at Hollywood Studios
If
the above options don't whet your appetite you may want to try a
Cobb salad at the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant. The Hollywood
Brown Derby has a great ambiance & unique décor that makes it a
great place to take a date. For a quick meal, check out the ABC
Commissary. You'll feel like you're a big studio executive on a
power lunch. For a delicious snack to cool off, stop for an ice
cream at Dinosaur Gertie's Ice Cream of Extinction.
