If you're taking your first trip to Walt Disney World and plan
to visit all four parks, you'll probably want to plan for at least
a 7 day vacation. This will give you at least one full day at each
park, and allow you to visit a couple of your favorites more than
once. A weeklong stay in the Orlando area will also provide a chance
for a couple of 'off days' where you can relax at your hotel, condo,
etc.
With
seven days in the Orlando area, you'll probably want to consider
a five or six day park pass (depending on your flight times). A
general rule of thumb is to purchase park passes for 2-3 days fewer
than you'll be traveling. This allows for a 'down day' when you
arrive and depart (no sense paying for a full day in one of the
parks) and also give you a break during your stay.
